I can see the point clearly: some folks are real and some are not. She knew that it wouldn't be accepted and did it anyway. Now she's looking for support and folks are like :francis:. As always for Black folks: no army in front and no reserves behind. :francis:
In all fairness, nobody asked her to do this shyt. I'd rather she get her combat training and education.

waste 8 yrs in the military to do something you could have done without joining the military brehs.

One thing if she was 20 yrs old and had gone to the military fresh from HS and woke up and said she was done with this.

It's damn near pitiful people are just now waking up to something that has been going on 500+ yrs. You literally put 8 yrs in fueling the machine, and blow it for daps. Black people act like some scorned baby mamas thinking acting out emotionally will make people act, when literally they just keep moving because Blacks are seen as non factors.

The Boot to Dallas
But let's review "play a mark to win."

Instead of her meaningless "kneeling" during the anthem, she could have:

1. Stood up and saluted as normal.
2. Used her benefits as follows...

Free College --> Great Law School --> ADA/ASA --> World is your oyster
or
Free College --> Great Law School --> Private Sector --> Run for Office (use Navy service as a positive)
or
Free College --> Great Law School --> Ph.D --> Academic
or
Free College --> Engineering Degree --> Start a Company
or
Free College --> Economics --> MBA --> Move up to C-Suite

or x number of variations on this.

But naw, take a knee sis, that'll get it done.
This, some of y'all nikkas be too attracted to gestures

She gave up her civilian rights the moment she joined. They are subject to a different set of rules. While I think this is unfortunate, it's a waste of our energy to try to fight the concept of the Uniform Code of Military Justice

I won't call her an attention whore or anything like that. If she was a civilian in ANY position, I'd stand with her. I'd have no problem with her running to social media (cuz she didn't do that to point out her protest, she did that to point out her punishment). I think she made a mistake and she needs to own it. She needs to apologize and hope they don't throw the book at her.

Then go fukking support her then

Set up the go fund me and give her support like you guys talking about online.

Most of the people talking in here couldn't even make the military or get the clearances she has.

Not saying she special, she got chose to do a job where staying under the radar is one of the most important things to do.. Its apart of her job. Staying out of trouble is apart of her JOB

For her to blow up her spot because it's trendy just isn't smart imo... Now she about to feel it.

She's not even regular military.. Shes not a seal or nothing like that. But there are smarter ways to promote your beliefs without doing something stupid like breaking the code she swore in to follow (protesting in uniform) then doing it publicly, then doing it in a place and position where discretion is expected.

I think she's gonna be fine in the long run but she fukked up at the moment. And thing is, she's not going to make the dent she thought she would or any of you think she will.

Y'all better make her famous.. Because the next couple of years gonna be tough if she is swept under the rug and forgotten about this.

Muhammad Ali did the same thing and they took his championship. Media gonna drag this bytch. :francis:
Nah media not gonna do shyt

I haven't even heard about it except on FB and I didn't even read it until this thread. I just thought she was an ordinary sailor caught up in the moment... And at worst she'll get a discharge..

Once i saw what her rate (job) was, i knew she was fukked and not shyt that she or anyone can do at this point until she leaves. Trust me, she's apart of a totally different community in the military...

Im tell yall, she has pentagon level clearances but y'all don't hear me.

Brave or stupid, bottom line is once all this passes and you nikkas completely forget about her and go back to lusting over big booty bytches, talking about rappers and etc., she gonna be going through some shyt.

Trust me.. I've seen where this is going:francis:

Look at you, emotional. :wow: You seem more concerned about the long-term implications than she is. :dead:Like I said, credit to her for standing up, irrespective of the consequences. None of us have to agree with what she did, but the least we can do is support her, you know, kind of how White folks support White cops who shoot unarmed Black people. :francis:
