The league coming of the heels from the great 90s and that forgettable 98-99 season. Pre Lebron/Wade/Melo etc.

Had some dope ass moments.

Vince Carter was a freak of nature

AI one of the all time best during that time period.

Legendary Duo of Kobe and Shaq. Killing it in LA

nikkas forget how ruthless TMAC was too

And of course,

Good times brehs. Good times.

I started following nba basketball around that time, so I will have positive memories on this shyt, but that is probably the most washed up nba era except that 60s 70s shyt.
West winning the title was a lock, and lots of one superstar + role players teams around. This is when that and1 street basketball shyt was popping so this and allen iverson influenced players on doing some nasty tricks on the court, but really the team play was horrible and lots of weak ass teams.

We talking about the backcourt of old ass mark jackson and reggie miller in the finals
