Uh, Tony Parker is looking to score, why do you think Manu was so important to them? Because he could run the offense while Tony functioned like an attacking SG at times.

Nah, PG's playing quarterback has had very little success when it comes to winning titles, haven't you noticed the move away from CP3 type of PGs lately? Guys like Rose, Westbrook, Irving and Curry are the future of the position, and they are all more closely in line with Tony Parker than they are with Cp3. The best young PGs in the league are all of that type...

yet none of them have won anything yet :yeshrug:

He did play well, ain't no denying that. But Westbrook had 10000000x more impact on that series than Paul did. Paul had one game where he basically single-handily decided the outcome of the game, Westbrook had at least three. Can you honestly sit there and tell me Westbrook wasn't the better player out of the two in that series?

Westbrook played better in the series yeah, but I'd still take CP3 over him. One playoff series, especially when neither significant outplayed the other won't change that opinion for me.

First off...AD breakout year was last year...or do these GM"s not...you know...watch basketball...

If the pelicans trade Gordon for a bigger defensive minded guard...or Tyreke for a shooter...along with Davis and Asik staying healthy...they will be VERY SCARY...like...the "new" OKC scary...

As it stands now though they don't have the shooting or the defense on the perimeter...they need to trade one of those guys to get at least one of those things..

Yeah looking at this list these guys don't know what the fukk they are talking about...last year they said Tony Parker was the best international player...then Tony team played Dirk team in the playoffs...Tony played so-so...but better than Dirk who shot less than 40% for half the games in the series...and this year when asked who the best international player is...they voted Dirk...

Tony Parker is not a traditional PG, he's not going to run your offense and set people up as his first priority, he's going to attack and if the opportunity to score isn't there he'll give up the rock. Tell me, how that's a reach for :youngsabo: when Monsieur Steal Yo Girl's best year (22ppg 7apg) lines up with :youngsabo: like numbers? And most importantly, their games resemble one anothers more so than CP3, take away the dunking ability and how much different is :youngsabo: from a prime Tony that used to score in the paint at will.
I would say that, Parker's mid range and elite finishing ability is better than Westbrook's but yea they're cut from the same cloth -- shooting guard in a point guard's body. People forget how amazing prime CP3 was when he had healthy knees. He would drop buckets on you and pick your defense apart.

It's not like he fell off that much because last year he was having an MVP year but fukked up his shoulder. :smh:
