Gameplay is ass? 
This is arguably the best gameplay a 2K has had since 2K11.
Only problem I have is the shytty AI on Hall Of Fame but the only thing I play is Online Ranked/MyTeam and MyPlayer.

My main issue is the fukking cheap ass CPU. I hate the way the game is programmed to purposely dumb down your teammates, esp on defense, so they AI can stay competitive. Its so fukking retarded. And their shyt servers, which they managed to have all your saves from different modes attached to now.
I'm a sim player/ wannabe gm type dude and that mygm mode was so broke. Anything past the first season was unplayable. Had Lebron playing for the jazz and melo just sitting as a free agent had the computer making the most idiotic trades with each other then had glitches where you couldn't even change the money you'd offer to free agents, had to make the dual shock 4 squirt before you could change anything.

I'm having fun with 2k14 on PS4. I wish I could play online quick matches but the lag makes it impossible for me. I jusy been running two seasons with the knicks and okc.

I'm running the season mode as well. thats fun. but the fact that you need VC to do damn near anything related to running the team is bullshyt. however, if u play the games thru and don't simulate, you will accrue VC pretty quickly. I'm 65 games into my first season so far. hope to finish it by the end of this weekend.
also, whats up with the rosters on PS4?? does 2k EVER update them shyts? like they never change the ratings for cats who are better or worse this season.
for instance, the knicks should not have 4 players rated 80 and above.
I've accumulated about 100k in VC just playing season but I've never really used it. I don't play my team and I don't really fukk with my player either. Season mode is where it's at tho, I play on All Star vs. The cpu and I get some really great games.
They do need to tone down the canned animations. The one where you press the pass button and then get bumped and then the pass is thrown AFTER the animation is the worst. Also the cpu tries to drive the paint way too much, I'd like to see more mid range game. Despite the flaws the game is fun, they really did a good job on the crowd reaction to what's going on in the game. I love playing at home with my Knicks

u can kinda adjust the sliders to make the game play right. I wish they kept the 2k11 AI, cuz that game played the best outta all the 2k games IMO. another thing that makes me crazy is how easily your player will lose the ball with the slightest contact. I mean if I'm dribbling, and I bump into a CPU player, chances are, I'm gonna turn the ball over. that doesn't happen with CPU controlled players.
the other thing that happens regularly is when u block shots, they ALMOST always go back to the CPU player for an easy layup. matter of fact, getting 50/50 balls are pretty much impossible to control. it's just luck really if u get it or not.

Passing is off to me too. I have trouble hitting the right person when I have two people on the same side of the floor.
And that stupid animation where you hit the pass button, get bumped and the player stumbles, and passes like 3 seconds after you initially hit the button
