NBA 2k14 IGN overrating yet again

Really hoping they fixed online associations this year, def the least hyped ive been about 2k but its not because of gameplay. Cant enjoy online cuz its nothin but offballin sissys playing ranked games.

They haven't bragged about the fixes they have done like in previous years... I'll put money that they didn't fix the issues!! And their excuse is going to be for the Current Gen that they were short staffed by getting the next gen ready... and then the next gen excuse is going to be that they were short staffed by getting the current gen ready...

Until EA gets Live back to full strength and gives 2k a reason to actually try for a change 2k's philosophy is "we don't give a fukk, you're gonna buy our game no matter what"

Im not getting ps4 till at launch so ill def run a OA for the ps3 brehs. The fact that they prob got a new engine for ps4 has me seriously thinking bout trying to get the ps4 at launch somehow though

Thats because they don't fix the issues in the game... the only reason I get it is for Online Association to play with my boys since we are all spread out, but when you cant play more than 2 seasons without shyt fukking up its lazy programming. The problems have been there for 3 years now and 2k refuses to address the problems. But yeah you're right we are just complaining to complain right?

Let's look at 2k14's demo... oh wait they didn't put one out because they are "focused on making 2k for current gen and next gen systems! But yet they were all over twitter talking about the celebs at their launch party

Last years "BIG" announcement was Jay-z being the executive producer... you know instead of fixing the issues that everyone was complaining about in 2k12

This years "BIG" announcement is Lebron doing the soundtrack and the "return of crew mode" even though it's a 3 on 3 mode from what I have read.

We are 5 days out from the release and people don't know shyt about the game because they refuse to tell you what they fixed. And thus I won't purchase it...


But yeah... we are complaining to complain right?

They're not even bothering putting out a demo. They know the sheep will buy this and it's essentially 2K13.5. l;ll give them their credit, though. They did "add" blocks as a new feature to their basketball game this year.

i've copped 2k first day since forever, but i'm not doing it this year. i'll have access to the game day one so its whatever. i wouldnt cop even if i didnt have access tho, i'd wait and see what cats say about online gameplay.

D is better
passes are faster
spacing is better
zone got nerf'd
good amount of contact in the paint
rebounding

shyt i didnt like...
fancy passes connect high clip
not enough fouls
a lil easy to get into the paint

i couldnt truly judge the handles 100% cuz it was on broadcast view, and i was just playing the cpu.

if you can wait for them to drop that next gen info then make a decision on what to cop, but 75% of people with it might just have on current gen, since this first year, most people are gonna have current gen due to cost and production.

Both games are in similar situations. They both made good games, when they had competition. 2k more so than madden.

2k13 was borderline terrible

I usually get this shyt day 1 but I'm going to hold off a month or so this time.

I already know I'm building my own roster. The living roster idea sounds good but is already flawed plus I doubt they will change the tendecies too much which is more important to me than specific ratings.

shyt like LeBron having an A+ outside shooting grade based off his 3P% last year is why that STATs system won't work in 2Ks world without major changes.
