Real talk, fukk this game man. Why the hell did they nerf your myplayer attributes so much? :mindblown:

My midrange is maxed out at a fukking 80 and I can't hit an open midranger for shyt. :mindblown:

I can't take anyone off the dribble so literally the only way for me to score is to shoot free throws. fukking stupid. I don't want to be some mediocre ass player, I want to be the star. ;pacspit: Any other year I'd be dominating the league at this point in the season, now I can barely drop 20+ points. I'm shooting 40 percent on the season, because they decide to cap your attributes at some ridiculously low levels.

It's like 2K doesn't think before they do shyt like this. :mindblown:

what type of player do you have?

if you chose balanced scoring, you lost

So I said fukk it and bought some attribute boosts for my player. :pacspit:

1st game I ended up dropping 26 Points (11-14 FG) 11 Assists, 3 Rebounds and 2 Blocks and we win by 28. :birdman:

Since I refuse to buy VC, upgrading MyPlayer has been a chore. I average 22/9/7 (HOF difficulty) as a balanced SG but I'm only rated 76 :beli:

Rebounding is piss easy as well. I shouldn't have wasted any VC upgrading that stat at all.

Ok so I finally made it to the playoffs. Carried Toronto to the 5th seed with a 44-38 record. Last game of the season I almost had an epic 18 point comeback against the Heat but lost at the end. :whew:

Won the MIP playing 16 minutes and averaging 17 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and a block. I shot 45% from the field, 32% from 3 and 92% from the line. :obama:

Probably gonna make a big man and and do a second season of my player after I finish these playoffs. :jawalrus:

Brehs..Whats a good height for a PG???..I usually have a 6'7 PG because Penny is my fav player but judging by this thread they nerfed the attributes this yr :francis:
A 5'7 outside pg got the best 3 for a myplayer I think... it's capped at 94 :obama:

But you don't want to be 5'7 obviously... imo 6'0 - 6'3 is best for outside, 6'3 - 6'5 is best for inside. I'd say don't make him balanced but I know a dude wit a 6'3 balanced pg and his player is ok I guess.

EDIT: just saw the date :francis:

What about athletic?
Depends what you want out of the athlete stat. Speed/Acceleration, or Dunking/Strength. The inside point has the best athlete stats, so if you're willing to sacrifice your shot go with this.

A 6'7 inside pg has the best driving dunk for all pgs. It caps at 94. The speed is capped at a measly 80. To compare, you'd be about as fast as Penny Hardaway is in this game. A 5'7 pg caps his speed at 94 and his dunk at a surprisingly high (but easily blockable) 90. He obviously can't standing dunk while the 6'7 pg can do it pretty easily. All other heights float in between those two extremes.

If I wanted an athletic inside point guard I'd probably make him 6'4. He'd still be an excellent dunking pg while still being around as fast as Chauncey Billups maybe even slightly faster. You could always use temporary boosts to make you faster though I don't think they work in Pro Am.

I chose a balanced SG and im 86 rating ... dropping 40 - 50 point games everytime ... hit 62 points once in 5 minute quarters .... you just gotta get badges and a shot you like... my jumper is fukking wet regardless of my rating ... any space is easy buckets ... I lost the Scoring title by like .4 points though to Damien Lillard ... he was 31 ppg and I was right under him, trying to make up for the 7 point games in the beginning of the season
