im partial to after 5, but i'm not going to stop the process i just don't want to get stuck with some trash players considering we're probably going to keep our teams for a few seasons right?

Yeah you get the option to keep your main players for up to 5 seasons

Oh ok. So is that what we're leaning towards? Lifetime contracts? It doesn't matter to me either way. I'm just asking cuz my draft strategy will change if I have to worry about losing a player after the 5th season.

You can keep a player forever if you want to

They said the AI is supposed to behave differently but i havent tested it out yet

Yes you can change your keepers each year

If we have 5 keepers then 7 or 8 of your guys will be free agents every year

If you want to keep a rookie then you have to make them a keeper
