I love Boogie & KAT but what have they done in their careers besides put up huge numbers on trash teams? AD made the playoffs twice in 7 years as the man in New Orleans and won one playoff series. Dwight’s peak was MVP runner up, DPOY and best player on a Finals team. Outside of Giannis, none of those you guys you named have matched or supplanted that.

The “OGs” don’t like Dwight because of how he carried himself, his reputation was that of someone who was goofy and immature, and that was magnified with how he left Orlando and him clashing with Kobe.

It's clear from the list that NONE of that matters. What are Dwight's numbers? His career high is 22ppg? Block 3per once...his claim is 13rpg...but against who? Who did he dominate against? Where does his numbers rank amongst them, and where vs his counteparts? Shaq has a goofy reputation and did most of the dumb ish Dwight did. Even Shaq's elders during his time felt that he was too young to be on the 50 list BUT still acknowledged that he was gonna get there. Embiid is goofy too. The media HATES Melo & Westbrook. Hell, Paul Pierce isn't really like by the elders either, but he made the list.

They still made the list. AD career numbers are simply better than Dwight. Cousins, KAT, Embiid already have higher highs than Dwight. The OGs don't like him because they feel he wasn't as good as he could've been, and wasn't as great as the praise he gets. You got videos of Dream & Ewing criticizing him for not working on his game, or not listening. Deke tried to mentor him too. You have Shaq & Chuck breaking down why he isn't that good as far as his game play.

What really hurt Dwight's stock is when he went to Houston, and looked even more pedestrian. The OGs love those young players that dominate on the court. The Cs in general always are looking to pass the torch, and they tried with Dwight. And now they've skipped over him and gone right to Embiid. LOL

Manu being a bench player meant he sacrificed a lot. This is the result of that

Manu legit gave up:
more all star selections
all-nba selections
mvp votes
scoring titles

and prolly more
This is why players say "fukk that shyt" and stay selfish

Look what being a "good teammate" and "team guy" gets you

You don't even get recognizes as being one of the greatest players ever, and those some people that praised you for being a good teammate won't give you your do

That's life, put yourself first always and recognize the big picture and full of shyt people are

He can’t shoot and plays like he has a learning disability:what:

He led the league in scoring 2X.. So if he can't shoot then what the fukk was the rest of the league doing? You cant engineer triple doubles you fukking retard.. Everyone would do it.

Melo honestly probably doesn’t make it if he wasn’t able to come back in Portland, that run did wonders for his reputation. Pierce isn’t hated by elders, he’s hated by fans.

My point is to insinuate that KAT, Cousins & AD were dominant when their teams were almost always trash is essentially a contradiction. For most of their careers those guys were putting up numbers while they lost by 10. I think Embiid is better than Dwight was but his resume isn’t better, not even close.

The issue with Dwight was also people acted like dude wasn’t shyt just because he wasn’t as good as Shaq. People harped on how overrated he was to the point that it caused him to be underrated. And him not wanting to take advice from former players goes along with his immaturity and why he’s not liked.
