Even if some of that is true Manu was never going to get on as a 3rd guy his whole career. The only player i can think of who did was Rodman and he was a special case because of the level of defense and rebounding skill he possessed.

Manu would have had to prove it somewhere and that never materialized. He did it in the Olympics but that doesn't count towards this. Most of the guys on the list have had to shoulder the bulk of responsibility on teams.

Dame can score 55 in a playoff game and shoot 75% and the team still lose.. guess who gets the blame? Him. That's pressure.

Guess who got the blame whenever the Spurs lost a game? Not Manu. Duncan and Pop.
