NBA All-Star game changes format, no more East vs. West

Kinda dumb, but considering the piss poor level of the east, it's a change that could save the all star game for a few years until some stars head back east.

I just don't like the idea of the most vote getter selecting the teams. I think they should let the TNT crew choose the teams, that way it doesn't put the players in a awkward situation with other players in the league. Do a special open court and let all of them put together the teams.
I think player awkwardness is what the nba is aiming for.

It’s 50/50. The teams are gonna be more evenly matched, but you’re still gonna have Eastern players get in over more deserving Western players due to there only being 12 roster spots. :yeshrug:

Now if it was just vote for your top 24 regardless of conference and then the top two votes get to divy up the teams, that would be interesting.
