This will be an interesting season. A few players may say they missed the anthem because they were still in the back getting treatment. :yeshrug:Stern really told players how to dress and forced them to stand for the anthem.:scust: More leagues will follow the NBA and make players standing a rule now.

the two sides pledged to work together to find a way to take "meaningful action" in NBA cities in the wake of the unrest in the country.

This line right here proves this is all about stopping brehs from protesting the anthem.

I keep wondering what are these "meaningful actions"? Are those the actions that don't make the dominant society uncomfortable? Are those the actions that allow the dominant society to ignore the REAL issue?

These protests are forcing the conversation, that's the real problem these white ppl have. This faux patriotic angle these cacs are running with now is nothing but a new angle they are using to avoid talking about THE REAL ISSUE.

If u havent already I suggest u all watch the movie 13TH, it's on Netflix and it breaks down the criminal label that was attached to black folks after slavery

There's a reason we get targeted more by the police and this movie brings alot of that shyt to light. This shyt is DEEPLY ROOTED, it doesn't surprise me that white people don't want to address it
