Sorry, you never really explained why players making more money = bad for the league

Can you try again?

Less movement and trades as teams can bring back their players and they can't sign for more elsewhere. This is stupid and unfair for a player. You mean to tell me Lebron wants to play for Africa but he gets paid less if he leaves to sign with them. Total bullshyt.

Is the NBA the only sport where people have an issue with players getting paid?

Is it because the players are so visible?

Stop it breh you reaching. Less player movement and trades. Players are almost forced to stay on their original team to make the most of their worth which leads to outrageous contracts n bullshyt.

300 murders a year
I don't get why we counting these billionaire owners pockets.

They been caking off the players since the nba inception paying the players pennies of what they are really worth. Most of these owners have no talent and has never done anything for the league outside of exploit some young dudes talents for their own gain and profit and then come out in cowboy boots and a do the right thing t shirt during the trophy presentation and hoist the trophy like they had anything significant to do with it.

If anything the owners deserve this slap in the face for putting us through that lock out.

Let them young nikkas move that dope. ...

Muthafukkas forget that being a professional entertainer (which is what an athlete is) commands a high salary because

1. they are very skilled at what they do which means people will pay to watch them perform and
2. the teams are making a fortune which is why the players deserve so much. If this wasn't the case, they wouldn't be paid like this.

Nobody ever said Frank Sinatra was overpaid. Nobody every said the Rolling Stones are overpaid.

I said it in the free agency thread: the new union head should get some baseball owners to speak on their behalf. Nobody bats an eyelash when Elvis Andrus, Shin Soo Choo, Rick Porcello, etc. get outrageous contracts nor do they start blaming the players because of them.

There are only 430 NBA jobs available, roughly 1 billion people around the world play basketball, why is it so hard to accept that the cream of the crop gets paid well. Teams scour the globe to find players, if dudes are getting paid out the ass so be it.

Truth, what's the matter with paying that small percentage of players that actually make it to the league? This isn't BallUp or the new ABA
