RJ Hunter is gonna end up being one of the steals of the draft. He should be in the rotation on opening night but Stevens will probably favor one of the vets. By trade deadline though, Turner needs to be gone and Hunter getting his minutes.

It's night and day when you look at him and James Young, as far as how they look on the court

James Young just needs minutes to learn the game. There was no reason he couldnt have gotten at least 10-15mins a game last year

Stevens was trying to gift him minutes after the trade deadline last year but he pretty much let Gigi Datome take his spot from him.

Watchin' this Bucks/Wolves game.. I'd like to see Giannis master at least one position before I hear all this he's gonna play everything from the 1 to the 4. He's damn near the same height as Kevin Garnett:patrice: Put him on a path at SF or PF and go from there

Capable of running the offense and playing point are two different things.

shyt, You can run the offense through just about every position on the court (You gotta be a MVP candidate to run it through a center nowadays though). A guy that can set up 4 other people while checking for all of their defenders is what makes a PG a PG. Russell is a long ways from that... and some guys simply never get it. That's why you got all these old ass journeyman PGs that essentially live forever in the league. That shyt is hard to find. As long as you got one, you can run the offense however you want and be creative as you feel like as a coach.
Russelll doesn't even look like a 2. He doesn't shoot and with his lack of quickness he can barely create. On D I think he gets abused even worse at the 2 than at the 1. He looks like a nobody right now.

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
But I have faith he'll try like hell to do it, and that's half the battle.

A lot is banking on the Nets pick... That could likely be a top 3 pick hand wrapped to us. Plus you have that Dallas pick which we have a chance of getting and I could see it being a top 10 pick as well.

We'd also get minnesota's draft pick as well but it's too 12 protected... Not likely but not impossible

Our pick should probably be in the 20-24 range

The roster is so stocked, that we could attach any of those picks, or multiple picks, with a 3 or 4 player package and stIll have a deep roster as long as these three rookies continue to play like they have all summer and preseason

Just can't foresee who might become available this year, want nothing to do with Melo

Been saying for the longest tonput dude at PF and push the ball. He could easily score 20 a game. He would beat most PFs down the court and could take them off the dribble in the half court. His shot sucks to much to play the 3,2 and 1 positions. Plus he is not that great of a passer to run the point.
