I thought Jonathan Bender was going to change the whole paradigm of how basketball was played.

Oh well.

Randolph Childress
:ohlawd:

This nikka here was so cold in college.... Tim Duncan was his sidekick. Let that sink in....

The way he took over that ACC tournament was beautiful :ohlawd: This is why I couldn't be a scout Childress would've been the first pick off my board.:ld:

When I was 7 I watched my first NBA Draft and I got it and all. I was excited about Marcus Fizer cuz my dad was telling me these dudes could be the next stars and since the Bulls got Fizer he was obviously gonna be Jordan. I used him in NBA street a lot. He sucked tho

Cuzz...I saw Marcus Fizer beast the fucc out of the Big 8 (lol). I thought he was gonna be the next Barkley. Speaking of Barkley, Erick Barkley.

HAROLD MINER

Yeah I was one of those Miner stans. I remember when i was in high school when homie came onto the scene. Heat fans thought we found our savior :noah:
To this day I still hate Kevin Loughery and Brian Shaw for how they contributed to Miner's lack of playing time. Loughery was in love with Shaw so he gave him all the playing time

DORRELL WRIGHT

I wouldnt call him a bust having picked him 19th overall but when we drafted him Riley comapared him to Tracy McGrady so i guess the bar was set so high. I had my doubts at first like "yeah right" but by the end of his rookie season I hopped on the bandwagon. He had me going for a while until i realized the fukka could never stay healthy.

Still turned out to be a decent player :manny: but nowhere near what I hoped he would be

MICHAEL BEASLEY

A lot of Heat fans will say hes a bust (and he is) but I personally never liked the guy and didt expect him to be a star despite the hype. I figured he'd be our "poor man's Melo" at least. But from day one his confidence level and work ethic didnt match. The kid was lazy and Pat Riley saw it too before the draft but Spoelstra and the other Heat scouts convinced Riley to still draft the b*stard. Like the Harold Miner vs Brian Shaw era, Heat fans were divided into a start Beasley vs start Haslem camp. I know I burned a few bridges on SOHH when I said Haslem should start.:pachaha: Turns out I was right :smugbiden:

Haslem was a proven, solid veteran who knew his role and did it well. Beasley was a young buck who swore all he had to do was show up and not put in that much effort.
