I actually like the ads. I don't really see them as tacky :yeshrug:

I think the problem is that most American jerseys/outfits/logos are tacky/ugly/stupid looking in the first place, where if you added an ad, yeah it will invariably look stupid.

Compare that to football shirts where it's just that, a shirt with a crest on the pec. The ad adds more character and can look pretty cool in some instances.

A Euro should not be opening their mouths when it comes to our franchises.

Players need more dough for this shyt. Or, alternatively, let these stars eat like soccer players.

Yet it's perfectly fine for Americans to label european football shirts as tacky, like exactly what has happened in this thread? Right.

As a baseball fan you think you would welcome change. Baseball uniforms are without a doubt the worst sport garments ever created. Garish colorways, pinstripes (), large logos with stupid fonts that cover the entire chest, looks like some kiddy shyt. Bereft of any sort imagination, class or style. Unfortunately you can lodge the same complaints at a large portion of US sport franchisees and their sartorial decisions.

The idea of someone wearing a baseball shirt in public :weirdo:

The game died the first time they stopped play just to go to a commercial break.

The sad part is I've been desensitized to that.

If the quarter is going on for longer than 4 to 5 minutes without a whistle, I be thinkin, "okay when are they gonna go to a commercial break just to get it over with?"

if they place a Best Buy logo on a Durant jersey, can i wear the jersey to work instead of the ugly blue shirt?

Nice to see baseball isn't even considering it right now. Good job, Bud.

You learn never to say never, but you know, with us, uniforms are really important. They're history. You can close your eyes, and that Cub uniform, my goodness gracious, I can remember (that from) when I was 10 years old, and that's a long time ago. And there's the Yankee pinstripes, and the Red Sox and so on and so forth, so I've been pretty consistent on that.
