I don't think widening the "lines" on the court 1- 1 1/2 ft. on each side would take away from seats...

You barely have room for the 3 pt lines they have now. You add another foot or two for the 4pt line AND space behind that line and you are gonna have to push people back.

I agree that you will have to push them back but I don't think you lose seats...plus with how they consistently reconfigure these arenas for concerts, other sporting events, etc they could come up with something without losing seats..obviously they have their current set up because of the standards now...I think they can adjust to the newer standards if needed and not lose seats...

My first reaction to this was "Hell no :mindblown:" but I mean...the 3pt line is still fairly new and I'm sure people threw fits when it was first created. Whats the real downside to a 4 point line, other than hating change just for the sake of? :manny:

Thats valid. I think the floor needs to be widened anyway even without the 4pter.
