even if tim hardaway was good on camera, I'm sure he's been blacklisted from any commentary job with his statement on gays a few years ago.

ESPN seems to get it right with all the other sports but have never been able to get the NBA crew down. ESPN has had the same damn crew doing the Saturday shows since 05 and if you just count Gameday it's pretty much been the same 3 since 96. The CBB crew is pretty solid and play off each other well. I haven't watched much of the NFL shows anymore so I can't speak on that.

Hardaway was pretty rough from what I remember actually the first year of the NBA coverage sucked the announce team was pretty garbage too.

I noticed this for years. ESPN's coverage of the NBA is when they have an actual game or NBA shoot around late on ESPN2. I never understood why shoot around doesn't have an afternoon time slot especially when the baseball, college, or football are over. The NBA is grossly under-promoted on ESPN.
