I don't think they suck at all.. But the impression the name gives is that they are D-players or they suck in NBA terms when a lot of the time its the teams situation

Some leagues only allow one American on their teams, some guys don't want to leave their family and live in a vastly foreign place then their own, some guys aren't even good enough to be useful in some of those leagues to be honest because the rules are slightly different and bias officials and coaching
Marshall Henderson did a nice documentary about playing in Iran or Iraq and his hotel got bombed by a car bomb during the filming of it
