Talent and skill-level wise he was a HOF'er. Injuries derailed him (Penny and Hill dilemma) and he never managed to get it done in the playoffs.... Dominated the regular season. Legends are made in the postseason tho... If its any consolation I think McGrady was gonna surpass Kobe as a greater player if he didn't catch that injury bug.

Injuries derailing a players career and not having alot of playoff success arent determining factors for the hall of fame unless you just wernt good long enough that is. TMac had 7 dominate seasons thats more than enough.
