Ben simmons really did nothing to improve during these years in the league. If I'm Philly, I'm trading him. Regardless of whether or not they win the series, Morey gotta let him go

If not for another star, then for competent shooters who can space the floor for Embiid possibly
They have that! Save for Curry, all of them failed last night. Doesn’t matter how many shooters they get if they all shoot the way Harris did last night

Dude legit came out and said he wants to improve on defense. Defense isn’t the lagging part of his game it’s just easier for him to do. This dude has no dog in him.

Yup it’s easier to improve at something you’re decent at but just didn’t try at in college. Guy has no heart…

Doc getting shyt and understandably so but Simmons is a major reason they lost. Embiid was gassed and needed someone to step up. It should have been Simmons. He’s being paid to be that guy. It’s like the Sixers go into games with a hard ceiling on potential points because it’s basically 4 on 5 on offense.

He can't even shoot free throws. They had to take him out because Atlanta was fouling him on purpose :dead:

4 - 14 from the foul line :scusthov:

Unfortunately, we've yet to figure out if that's truly the case as the dude doesn't even put forth the effort and try. I think people would respect him more if he at least tried to add a 3pt or jumpshot to his game and failed rather than him barely try at all.
I mean, he could be doing the shyt Giannis is doing currently where he just jacks up threes he knows damn well he has no shot of making. I’m not sure which is worse.

Ben Simmons making NBA history with free-throw woes

Ben Simmons’ foul-shooting woes so far in the playoffs aren’t just obvious.

They’re basically unprecedented.

The Philadelphia guard is 22 for 67 from the line so far in this postseason. He’s down to 32.8% after going 4-for-14 in Philadelphia’s Game 5 loss to Atlanta in the Eastern Conference semifinals on Wednesday night — and nobody in NBA playoff history, with that many attempts in single postseason, has ever been worse.

The next lowest percentage, among those with at least 67 foul shots in a postseason, is Shaquille O’Neal’s 37.4% for Miami in 2006 — when the Heat wound up winning the NBA championship anyway.
