Indeed.
But this note is never made regarding white athletes or rich white men when talking about whose dollars could solve social or economic problems.
:coffee:

Or how about 7 of the nba owners pay and bail greece out
I feel like a whitr writer thought itd be cool nd cute to compare the smount of money these players are getting paid to the plight of greece but the truth is these players generate more money then they get paid. How about talking about the 20 billion the tv companies are paying fkr the nba as a product? Why tslk about the players? Why not talk about how there are baseball players on atleast 8 teams that have contracts worth a quarter billy?
Yep had a long argument about this at my job last year with a dude of course he was white lol.

This is why I love the Coli.

Real.shyt...curruption and ineptitude is what led to the problems of Greece.

And when you take into consideration the comments of Gronkowski that were championed...

You see that the same shyt people complain about Black athletes who waste their money...well look at that...it plagues the governments and CEOs of Europe's and Western civilization's businesses.

They are talking about their inequities of salary compared to the leagues' revenue and their risk as an employee. NOT saying the players don't deserve it or should give it to them.

:why: First of all, NFL players are complaining about NFL salaries, they are only using NBA salaries to justify their stance on why they should be paid more. Second, you are comparing fellow athletes from different sports expressing their desire to increase their salary based on the economics of the other league, with the White Street Journal suggesting that NBA players get paid too much because of the problems of a fukk ass country like Greece:mindblown: You're not making much sense right now.

Where does the article suggest NBA players are payed too much? I mean there's been countless posts on various threads clowning the fact the a guy like DeMarre Carroll is the most paid player of an NBA team.

DeMarre Carroll brehs :francis:

Again, these kind of comparisons are always done when big money is moving in sports. In Europe, it's whenever a Messi or a Ronaldo sign a huge contract. I'm really surprised some are taking this so seriously, like Greek people are actually asking money from NBA players:dwillhuh:

This whole thread, from the ridiculous article to people calling Greeks "CACs", is hilarious

Why don't I ever see articles like this when MLB players get paid?

Because MLB Free Agency doesn't immediately impact things like NBA Free Agency does.

Pujols got 250 M's and the Angels didn't make the playoffs for the next 2 seasons.

meanwhile a player getting a max deal from a cellar team in the NBA can instantly propel them to the playoffs... or even the Finals.
