Them janky ass dunk/dribbling/sliding arcadey ass animations is why I'll NEVER rock with Live again.
Don't mistake 2k.for.live breh.
Where
did you see sliding in that video. I even posted a gif and you clearly see the step back and foot plant on the cross over.
Live looks like it improved breh Imma rock.with the demo and maybe buy it.

Lives always been so ahead of the curve with accessories, it's one of the bigger reasons it took me till 2k4 to convert over to 2k for good
If they can hopefully put out a smooth playing basketball game I'll be happy. But it's 2014 and EA shouldn't have Live looking and playing like it's 1998
We will see, I'm hoping they give us a demo as well and no trickery.

I can deal with the goofy animations as long as it's fun. that's all I want now. it's been years since i actually had a good time playing a basketball game. if it's not the most realistic game, fukk it. just as long as it's entertaining. it's good to see nba live actually making those steps forward. 2k needs to feel some pressure.

nba live is the only game in my whole life that i returned because it was so shytty. i think it was 2003. the only nba live i'll ever play again is nba live 95 or 96 for genesis. i have both and one of the two was the first nba game i can remember that allowed for created players...i used to rock that with nba hangtime or nba jam all the time.
not only that...but EA has been pissing me off for a while now. i can never resist madden nowadays but theyve been lazy for a long time IMO. ive liked nba 2k more essentially since it came out over Live and even co-signed NFL2K when it was around for my Dreamcast during that short window over Madden. EA/Madden lost me briefly prior to that in the genesis ---> jump. i thought the n64 versions of madden were mostly garbage. QB Club >
EA felt the pressure and stepped up Madden big for a long time but in the past couple years they got fat and lazy...seems like 2K is following that same pattern with NBA but it's still far and away the best NBA game..I hope Live can get somewhat competitive to force 2K to improve things more year to year rather than gradually working in improvements so the next installment will be easier to develop without the threat of losing market share but I'll never be purchasing or playing NBA Live ever again.
