NBA players as a whole sat out more games than ever not just LeBron. This sit out shyt was started by the Spurs who rested nikkas for nationally televised games.
Let's keep it funky, like KD says this is because of lebron, kd, steph, big superstars sitting out big games and not scrubs.
Lebron has complained about scheduling for years and he's getting his way. It's the way that it is.

The problem is that single game road trips have never been a big deal and were not part of the manufacturered controversy about rest days.
If the league kept the back to backs but had more of them at home, they wouldn't be a big issue. But to reduce travel costs and road time, they almost always have back to back schedules have at least one and usually both games on the road. The 4 games in 5 nights schedules were typically all road games. So a couple times a season, a few teams take one of those games off.
It makes no sense that people still cry about this.
I feel like the scheduling is worse now.

yeah the ASB needs to be smack in the middle of the season. I don't understand teams playing 60 games then having the ASB

no i want the season to start on christmas and have the ASB sometime in april where the weather is going to be good anywhere you go.
That's the goal but that's a pipe dream.

no, the NBA loved to conveniently schedule back to backs with the Spurs in the most in opportune moments in the season, it's well documented, it got more blatant as the Spurs still kept winning chips despite David Stern also trying to fukk them
