The entire Delaware Valley is a football area first, before anything else. All races, all creeds.

Not just the NFL....college, high school, little league.....football runs this part of the country.

That said, the NBA is getting more exciting every year. Of course, I've been a fan of both since I was a kid so I don't exactly see why there has to be some type of "comparison" in the first place.

I was like reading that.... Football is a religion down south. I've been at a game where the crowd booed the pre-game prayer over the PA because dude was praying for God to give them the victory, and this was at an HBCU and not in Alabama.... Football is deep down there. Even high school ball is bigger than the
NBA.

College Football Saturday's is a religion for me. On Sunday I pretty much only check for the Raider game. But I do love the late night Sunday game and Monday Night Football.

I think the NFL Package is incredible but stuff like the Red Zone Channel, games being shown on mobile devices, etc. are gonna hurt the league attendance wise down the line in the future. The numbers will always be high television wise because the league is becoming a television game more and more every year. throw in the bad economy and

What NFL teams charge for season tickets in even shytty sections of the stadium is mind blowing. Thousands of dollars in PSL's on top of it.

The NFL is out there raping. They could afford to drop their ticket prices some and not miss a beat. The TV deals keep on increasing. The revenue streams coming into the league are insane.
