Only 1% less then 1 minus the guaranteed top 5 pick....

How is it going to bolster the east ? The same teams in the east have been trash for two decades and obviously getting high draft picks hasn't helped much. If you can't scout, recognize and develop talent you're going to suck no matter what.

I believe that the teams in the east will get higher picks leading to more "stars" out east plus more all start level athletes not leaving their team until after their second contract

Remember their first contract is four years with the first two guaranteed and the last two are team options once they sign an extension after that they can start to get major money even more if they become a MVP , all star, or any all-nba teams

So these east teams will have star level talent that people will come see and buy merch for at least 5 years
