Just buy guardrails. Why pass on a pool?
What you meant was fencing in the pool like this i assume?

Cool in theory, but 1) tacky looking and 2) if they did manage to find their way into the pool it would just make it that much harder to jump in and rescue them.

Those type of pools are very dangerous to have when you have young children. Passed on a house because of it when i was looking for a home. I'd even worry about one of my neighbors kids falling it. Obviously my property much closer to neighbors than his would be tho

Yes I did to a few years ago. I had the bid on it and everything. And me and my wife were talking she told me that she likes the house but don’t think that I considered the fact we had a 2 year old at the time. Which I didn’t. So I had to back out and ended up just renting a place. Kind of glad I did in hindsight.
