In the NBA the higher you’re drafted the more you make. Dejounte was the second to last pick in the first round in 2016 so his contract is 2 years around 3 mil in total. I believe after this summer his team has the option to sign him for a longer deal, or let him get offers from other teams. But dude is not broke, he’s like 22 with a Bentley and an S Class living on his own.I do not follow the sports game or know much about salary except they have to pay everyone and the NBA off the jump.
How bad is a rookie deal tho? They make the real money when they sign a new contract right?
