Steve Nash is clearly the first name to come to my mind. Rajon Rondo as well.

On a lower level Gerald Green looks like he's turning that corner.
Nah he fell way short of what he was supposed to be. Was surprised when he ended up in the D-League. Way too talented for that.

Kobe :childplease:

people seem to forget that he didn't come out gate playing like MJ.
don't use that tired "he was too young excuse" cuz LeBron came out of high school too.

Kobe Bryant was playing behind 2 All-Star guards and was hated by Dell Harris. LeBron James was givin the keys to the franchise from the door. Plus LeBron was basically 19 years old anyway.

And? Kevin Garnett came out of highschool behind an allstar and took his spot halfway into the first season.
Tom Gugliotta was an allstar in 1996-1997.

I think it had more to do with Eddie Jones being around so starting Kobe wasn't a pressing matter. Kobe could of started, but aside from that you're right he improve tremendously from his rookie season to that first title run. After that shyt became an arms race between the great scorers of that era.
