There's an inkling of truth in what he says.....

He's wrong on Republican's ignoring black folks though, it's more like Republicans are outright hostile to black folks.

Black folks really aren't that loyal to democrats so much as absolutely don't want republicans in office and vote for democrats to prevent that.

If more republicans were like Colin Powell (or if the party embraced rather than disown Powell) you'd see more black folks voting republican.
