TBH, I miss Pop and those old f*ckers too. I know what the records and seeding say but I think most of us on here viewed the Spurs as one of the top 3 teams in the league. Not having them in the conference finals, especially after that 11 game win streak, feels like we were cheated out of a showdown between the 2 best in the west.

Despite the injuries, the East is a bit more satisfying because we get to see the Cavs face the 2nd and 3rd best teams.

The Spurs traditionally don't know how to defend their title so them not being in the playoffs is expected. At least from those of us who have been following the NBA for more than 15 years.
