Pelicans goes to Seattle and becomes the Supersonics again

Memphis can go back to Vancouver but they will need to do a lot of work with trying to get the franchise to work..

If not I think the NBA would go with Vegas

This would be a best case scenario for Portland. Dramatically reduces their road travel again.

Louisville has an NBA ready arena in the Yum center but the problem is Louisville doesn’t have the disposable income/industry/ population to carry a NBA team. there’s no real industry there for young professionals (a significant number of the college grads leave the state upon graduation) and the blue-collar population there only cares about college basketball.

Cincinnati would probably fare better as they’ve already proven they can support two pro teams. However the two pro teams they support are also notoriously cheap and they probably have to be given that Cincinnati does not have booming industry either. Building a state of the art arena there would probably be an issue due to the meager tax base.
Bruh, if Memphis can support an NBA team, Louisville could. It's economy is only $5B smaller than Memphis and it's metropolitan area is larger by 55,000 people and growing at a clip of 5x faster than Memphis' too, which is in decline.

And again I hope the Grizz stay in Memphis permanently, Memphis has done a significantly better job showing up for the NBA than the people in New Orleans.

But while Louisville obviously can't hold a candle to Seattle, it could still turn out to be a better NBA option in a market with less distractions (and attractions) than Seattle.

Memphis wouldve never had an NBA team if it were up to me :yeshrug: . The NBA didn’t even wanna go there in the first place as their first choice was in Nashville who refused to build a new arena for them . They’ve only succeeded because they have an ironclad deal with FedEx center. Relocating to Louisville would be the same shortsighted decision and I say that as a former resident of Louisville.
