The Nets lost Pierce, Livingston and Blatche this offseason. Toronto didn't lose anyone of consequence, and upgraded their roster with Lou Williams for bench scoring and James Johnson to guard big wings like Joe Johnson.
Having Lopez back is nice for the Nets but they are going to have to figure out a style that works for them this season with all their roster changes. They can't do what they did last season, their roster isn't suited to it anymore. Pierce and Livingston were key for them. They had a losing record with Lopez playing big and slow last season, and only turned it around when they started going smaller and faster with Pierce at the 4.
Raptors are basically picking up where they left off. They're not going to miss the playoffs unless they get hit with a bunch of injuries. They played at a 55-win pace after the Rudy Gay trade last season. Even adjusting for the fact their early season schedule was tough last season that means they should win 45-50 games.
The Knicks are worse than both of these teams. This season is to put in the triangle, develop Shumpert and Hardaway and let some of these contracts expire for them.

good points.

and i didnt know the raptors got james johnson. they needed that.
