Sorry but Brooklyn is actually better than Miami but I don't don't think they can win because of Lebron but since I've watched Wade v. Joe. Joe has gotten the best of Wade as many times and Wade's gotten the best of Joe but now Joe can't get doubled nor is he going to be in the iso offense anymore either. Wallace can still defend at a high level. Lopez is a 20ppg player and Hump is a good PF.

Chalmers
Wade
Bron
Battier
Bosh

will be an extremely tough match-up for Miami.

People always talk about how Boston is a bad match-up for Miami but Boston didn't have the talent and still don't in my opinion.

To be honest I think the Nuggets will finish in the top 3 out West. They're as deep as anybody, they have size, they have speed, and I think Iguodala is going to have that Revis effect for them. Somebody you can throw out on the opposing teams best perimeter player. Those boys aint gon be a joke
Not bad but who's their go to scorer in crunch time? Who get's the last shot in the game? Lawson? The other teams got Kobe, Durant, Paul, and Manu. That's a huge gap between Lawson and them

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
The Nets roster really isn't that bad, it wouldn't shock me if they had the best record in the East, provided Lopez stays healthy. They have a PG and a scoring C, how many other teams can say that? Their bench even looks good on paper with Watson, Blatche and Brooks :manny:

If you just look at their roster, everything about their starting 5 just fits together.

All Ray has to do is knock down those 3s and it'll make them that much more lethal,he dont have to be anything else...Point was even with a somewhat flawed roster they have 3 all stars and the best player in basketball that should be enough esp with a ship under the belt to convince you...

It ain't that easy, he going to have to defend which is going to be a lot harder now that KG ain't anchoring the middle no more. I love how ya'll take players and say well he will do this but forget it ain't the same environment. I never seen one game where Miami offense moved half as good as Boston. Ya'll overrating Allen's impact for Miami.

People really acting like Joe ain't a top 3 SG or ain't an very goof all around SG. People got a sour taste in their mouth from Atlanta but Atlanta issue was they never had the personnel. Atlanta was always an elite PG away from greatness but could never get that piece. Joe is one of those players who is master of none but very good at everything.

I was with you on the Nets possibly having the best record in the East, but they aren't really seeing Miami.

What will happen is that the Nets will be forced into playing small, they don't have PF's that can hurt the Heat for going with Battier. Everyone views the Lakers as a bad match for the Heat cause their frontcourt is big, and they both can score, only Lopez can score from the post for the Nets. They'd just put Bron on Humphries and let Battier defend Wallace.

Miami needs a smart PG and and a true center. They still haven't addressed that yet. Wade and Bron will never fit like Amare and Melo. Difference is Lebron>>>everyone in the NBA besides Dwight. Lebron carried that team to a ring. He did it all. Best playoff performance in NBA history.

The nets were 20 games under .500 last season. It's hard to go from that to winning 60+ games and having the best record in the EAST. I can see them winning 48-53 games provided everyone is healthy throughout the season

That's the only reason why I didn't pick Denver to win, I don't know if they can come out of the West without a go to scorer, I just like the way they constructed their team and I think the sum of their parts will make up for a lack of a go to guy.

I think alot of disrespect is unfairly being shown to Mario Chalmers here. Look at how he improved his 3 pt shooting game last year, and how he stepped up and delivered a clutch 25 pt performance in the finals. He may be jekyll hyde at times but he's got ice in his veins. He lives for the big stage

Not exactly the same team as last year, Lopez was injured pretty much the whole season.

no offense my dude, but you're just repeating soundbites from talking heads. leave the "closer" talk to :skip:

the Nuggets are incredibly efficient offensively, they'll always have a PG (and Iggy) on the floor that know how to get good shots for their team and themselves. the question isn't can they score down the stretch, the question is can they defend down the stretch at a high level.
