Well Kyrie would be the biggest change amongst Boston's personnel changes so that's not unreasonable :manny:

Kyrie is a shoot-first PG who's replacing another shoot-first PG

Heyward is a first/second option scorer who's replacing a defensive stalwart who was the fifth option on offense

But you right, Kyrie is the big change and it's not gonna be unreasonable for the media to place the blame primarily on his shoulders :stopitslime:

Teodosic is gonna be a great addition for the Clips. He is clearly their best offensive pg, passer and ball handler. He came in tonite and the team instantly looked better on the offensive end. If he can be serviceable on the defensive end, he will probably get all of Austin's minutes by Christmas.

So if he's serving the same role as his precedessor, with a superior #2, and a core that many of yall think is better than last year...why shouldn't Kyrie shoulder the blame?

Granted we probably haven't seen a situation exactly like this, but he would be the first player of his caliber to not shoulder the blame for regressing from what his predecessor led the team to. We can't concede that basketball is a superstar-driven sport where one player makes the most impact, while saying talent trumps coaching in the NBA then be shocked.

Now if Stevens gets NO blame then that's a different story. But historically players always get more blame than coaches by the public at large and that dynamic won't change for Kyrie if the Celtics regress.

so you admit you were full of shyt all these years and you were tryna speak shyt into existence? :skip:
I didn't think they was championship material until last year. They been a decent franchise under Ted Leonses. And your team is looking really good for the first time in franchise history. But still not 1/2 seed good :umad:

I don't have the slightest clue what you're talking about.
