Giannis will finally have a jumper
Rondo will be a top 10 in assists
Boston will start slow and end up fifth in the East

Seriously who is #11? This looks like he works in the front office.

I swear I thought it was coach Bud at first & they were trying to prank the fans.

Apparently it's some white breh who been a all star the past two years in the d league

This dude made a fukkin NBA roster.
We done for b
:beli:

You showing you dont follow the Hawks closely breh...

1. It's the preseason, he's not even on a guaranteed deal.
2. He was with the team in the preseason last year...
3. He's been one of the most productive guards in the D-League the past few years. It's worth kicking the tires on him again

This year's Clippers > Last year's Clippers

Lost a HOF PG, but added gallinari, Lou will, Beverly, and the euro dude :ehh:
No more gaping hole at the SF, more balance throughout lineup and a stronger bench. I think you may be right.

I think clippers and rockets could be fighting for that 4th seed....possibly timberwolves too but I feel like it will take that team a long time to gel. I also don't know if KAT and Wiggins are really ready to buy into a team concept of moving and sharing the ball.

Teodosic looks slow and every highlight has him scoring off P&R. Curious whether he can create his own shot that much at the nba level even with all the P&R the league has become... But the court vision did look good.

I’d be surprised if western conference PGs don’t cook him every night.

Aite let me take off my NBA scout/GM glasses then:francis:

This aint like the NFL knowing 95 guys, it's only 4-5 guys max on preseason rosters who dont end up on the regular season rosters. The dude was in the PG battle last yr with Delaney and Jarrett Jack

That's Josh Magette. He played for the Lakers D-League squad the past few years, the D-Fenders. He put up 8 assist a game last season.

If you watched the game it's clear that scoring isn't going to be what he's going to be brought in to do. He changed the game with his BBIQ and passing. The real problem is that Doc is his coach and if Doc doesn't know you he doesn't play you much. He'll have to find a home somewhere else if he wants to be in the league for 4 to 5 years

So if he's serving the same role as his precedessor, with a superior #2, and a core that many of yall think is better than last year...why shouldn't Kyrie shoulder the blame?

Granted we probably haven't seen a situation exactly like this, but he would be the first player of his caliber to not shoulder the blame for regressing from what his predecessor led the team to. We can't concede that basketball is a superstar-driven sport where one player makes the most impact, while saying talent trumps coaching in the NBA then be shocked.

Now if Stevens gets NO blame then that's a different story. But historically players always get more blame than coaches by the public at large and that dynamic won't change for Kyrie if the Celtics regress.

You said Kyrie is the biggest change. He's not. Hayward is. The addition of Heyward is why people are saying this is a better roster than last year when that move is responsible for the loss of both Crowder(taking his PT) and Bradley(wouldn't sign for 300k less so they could keep him). He has to provide equal or greater value than both of them in order for him to be a true improvement. Tatum and Brown are still developing so he'll need to compensate for the drop-off due to their inexperience.

Kyrie has a completely different team than the one IT had last year. 4/5 primary starters are gone as well as some of their bench. If he does what he's been doing then he shouldn't shoulder the blame if they "regress", since the regression would be based on what the franchise did, not what was done with the same roster. I do believe that he needs to step up and show why he wanted his "own" team, but the fate of the Celtics this season is in the hands of Hayward, not Kyrie.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?

A smart coach would play him in lineups with Patrick Beverley, you allow him to run the offense from the 2, while Pat defends the PG.
