I'm not anti-vaccine. I already had it myself. But at the same time, I understand why some people might be reticent about getting it. My main argument was the dangerous precedent co-ercing people to take a vaccine sets. First it will be co-ercing, next it'll be essentially forcing by threatening your employment.

That's the entire point though. We've learned that people have to be essentially forced to do the right thing for the public good otherwise this shyt will never end. We live in a country driven by culture wars and selfish ass people.

There's no long term side effects for any vaccine (any resistance happens within the first couple of months and then it's essentially non-existent; once your body has developed those memory cells, it closes the book) and if you've been paying attention to all the anti-vax propaganda, you'd see that their misinformation does extend to MMR, Tdap, IPV etc vaccines and the supposed long-term effects. Anything they can manipulate for material to push their agenda they will do so.

The Trump era was a mirror for this.
