The NBA is a Private employer. Annual Flu vaccinations are requirements for many companies. It’s that simple.

technically each player is a TEAM employee not an "NBA" employee. Your contract is with the team not the NBA itself which is why the NBA as an entity must bargain with the NBAPA to get certain rules implemented league wide.

Vaccination is a none starter the NBAPA says so that's what it is. Mandated ain't gonna fly so best they can do is cut pay if you get sick. NBA players have way more sway than the NFL

Also Why would NBA players boycott the NBA? The NBA isn't forcing them to get vaccinated. No one is going to miss Kyrie or Beal. Beal isn't even top 15 in jersey sales and Kyrie is 8th. If they boycott no one will care.
