Size usually wins out in the end. And if he shows in workouts that he even has a bit of a post game i think he'll be number one too.

fukk outta here son, people were saying the same shyt about Davis this time last year. Noels offense is progressing very nicely he has been hitting the hook shot consistently now, he also reclassified so he is young as fukk. he is ambidextrous too both on offense and blocking shots.

if we had more weapons the lob would be there as often as it was for Davis. Noel is a gifted passer as well.

c'mon man. He's not nearly as good as Davis was last year.

I'm not saying he is as good, but it's unbelievably close. Davis had a lot more weapons on his team that defenses had to worry about. only thing Davis has over Noel is a jumper. if you factor in steals, nerlens is defensively better.

Noel is not better than Davis or that close.

Davis is quietly putting up a good year.

i never said he was better, at the same point in the season (compared to Davis) they're very close. I'm not talking about Davis in the NBA vs Noel now. he's now #1 on draft express too

Noel is really a tough player to judge. He can really go anywhere from good to star. Hell, he's more talented than Bynum coming out but he seriously needs a jumper and his post moves are stall but at least he's not mechanical in the post.

he does have a decent jump hook with both the left and the right... he wont ever be a big time scorer... he is better defensively than davis... slighlty better shot blocker and his ability to steal the ball is incredible... top 20 in the country in steals as a center

nerlens is a better defensive player, but i take Davis over him without thinking about it... Davis will have a kg like career...Nerlens what chandler has been the last few years a step above that

The talent is always there. It's just a matter of how far away your team is from winning (and obviously also whether you need a big)

If I'm the Wizards I need to draft someone that can push me to a playoff berth. That player isn't gonna be Noel even though in 3 years he can be a real good PF (I'm writing him off as a center. It's crazy how now you can be 6'11'' 225 and debate whether you're a C or not)

If I'm Charlotte, to me they need a wing much more than a big. If Noel could score I can make an exception, but they already a potential defensive beast already there. If Noel gets there they gotta start making a tough choice.

Considering I think Sacramento will win this lottery if they move to Seattle, Noel as a King works. Awesome compliment to DMC. Masks a lot of his on the court problems. They may have to throw Thomas Robinson in the bushes, but they may have to do that anyway.

Best spot other than Seattlemento, Orlando. It would be just their luck too.

It's closer them most people want to think. Nerlens would shine a little more on the offensive end if he had a point guard who could throw an entry pass. I think he's better on the defensive end than Davis and he will shock people with his offense. I know he won't be Duncan in the post, but he's not gonna be Ben Wallace neither.

If I am any team in the lottery, you can't be above taking a potential All Star center including Orlando. Very good centers are a rare commodity.

If Orlando took Noel, he'd be at PF, which works very well for them.

Excellent balance on offense /defense for that entire lineup minus a PG, and if they wanna spend, they can go get Bledsoe if they want.

C Vucci Mane
PF Noel
SF Harkless (still very high on this kid)
SG Afflalo
PG sign Bledsoe or get Dre Hollins in 2014

That lineup has so much promise. All you need are some bench scorers (they have depth at PF/C, keep Redikk around, they're be built fast)
