Again...

How many teams in the last 50 years have come back and won a series being down 3-0??

We should keep it for the Finals/ Conference finals
But 1st/2nd round of the playoffs it's pretty pointless

Portland came close as hell to coming back from 3-0 down against Dallas in 2003. Seattle was down 3-0 to Chicago in the Finals before they switched Payton onto Jordan and started limiting him severely, they took games 4 and 5 and had them struggling in Game 6 before the refs put an end to that.

Teams have pushed it to 6 games nine times and to 7 games three times.

NBA ain't giving up all that game money for nothing.

A 0-3 comeback will happen eventually. Its just like a #16 seed in college ball will eventually beat a #1 seed in NCAA tourney. We seen the biggest comeback ever in just past year. Anything is possible

Yeah.. It may happen..and when it does it will be do to some major injury because again: in 70 years the team the has been up 3-0 has won 100% of the time...(not 99 or 98% but 100)

So they are the better team.. And since that's been established you are risking injury and the ruining of the rest of a potentially good playoff for absolutely no reason at all..

And let's says the 0-3 team does come back dues to a key player being inuuried on the other team.. Is this what the fans of the NBA really want to see:patrice:

5 game first round series was wack and a 7 game first round series is wack

But a 7 with the possibility of skunking and 3-0 is perfect :lawd:

100 of the time no team has won...

I don't care about almosts...

In 70 years it hasn't happened.

Its a money grab so just call it that..but y'all need to stop acting like it "could"happen and when it does happen NBA fans are going to be thrilled about it...

I'm trying think progressive and prevent a possible future disaster. That game four 1st round close out really isn't worth it

Probably because when a team does manage to comeback from 3-0 people everywhere will go crazy. How do you see all the hype generated from the Cleveland comeback and not realize this.

Every time a team goes down 3-0, there's a chance of something happening that's never happened before.
