Well, there's one reason... if they keep it the conferences the way they are, scheduling is pretty much fair; if they switch it, it becomes more unfair because you're playing certain teams four times and the opposite conference twice, but you're all in the same pool for playoff seeding.

I've been waiting for the league to do this. It was always unfair when the 5th or 6th seed had a better record in a better division, than the 4th seed.
At the end of the day, division titles never really meant anything (except obviously guaranteeing yourself a top 4 seed, which wasn't fair to better teams).
Some people think they should say fukk the conferences and put the top 16 records in the playoffs... I don't. I think they should keep it east and west, but I love this move.

Wont need it this year...we'll be winning road games,shutting teams down...I like us as a 6-7 seed this year...Honestly teams wont want to play us cuz we'll be good defensively and bodying alot of these soft fakkits in the east for 48 mins...

I like Milwaukees team but were gonna bully them a few times this season...

Because it's a parity realignment. The Pelicans have yet to prove themselves as perpetual contenders so they can stay in the West. They don't necessarily have a "history" of being a contending squad, meanwhile Dallas have put together quite a few good teams over the years

Bucks are a soft ass team led by a soft ass greek who cant score from outside 10 feet...as i stated Cavs at full health are a team we couldnt bully defensively....nobody else impresses me.
We will have trouble scoring but we will shut teams down as well...
