This nikka jay crowder might as well be lebron. Every time you hear a celtics deal not going thru is because they wont let go of crowder, like damn hes not even better than otto porter right now :gucci:
Lol, it's gotta be because of his dirt cheap contract. It allows Boston the cap flexibility to land a superstar this summer.

He's under club control for the next 3 seasons at only 7 mil a year. Bum ass Chandler Parsons is making triple that from his contract last off-season.

Are the Celtics going to re-sign Bradley? Probably not, so I don't understand why you keep using him like he's not in the long term plans and may net you a mid first rounder at best.

Nah, these guys aren't projected to be on Wiggins level who got all sorts of "Best since LeBron" hype behind him. And Wiggins wasn't traded straight up for Love, they got the previous number 1 pick and also the Sixers were involved in the trade and sent the Wolves Thaddeus young. If I said Jimmy Butler for Jaylen Brown, Avery Bradley and next years pick you'd say that was too much too, you basically want the Celtics to give up nothing and just get high end talent.

KevJ(and danny ainge apparently) doesn't seem to understand that realized talent>potential talent. As in an established player that you know is certified good is far less of a gamble to get than a POTENTIAL guy that MIGHT end up great.

If Ainge doesn't think he can build a team to compete right now against the Warriors and that's why he isn't giving up some of his assets that's fine, but if that's the case then he should trade those established players for more picks/young talent.

Right now he has a team that's not a real contender and if he keeps going like this he'll end up with a future team that also isn't good enough to be a legit contender, but will also be good enough to just stick around in the playoff in the east that doesn't make it to the finals.

This is basically when the Cavs refused to give up JJ Hickson for Amare Stoudemire :dead:

Chill the Crowder disrespect is getting insane. Hickson was just some bum ass nicca that caught lobs from Lebron. Crowder is a legit 2 way wing that's on a great value contract.

This is not me advocating keeping him. I don't have a horse in the Boston race as I hope who ever they pick, sign,or trade for immediately tears their ACL.

I love Crowder. There's no way if I was an opposing team I would take a deal from the Celtics without him unless you're giving away both Nets picks (which really won't happen knowing Ainge)......The Celtics deal basically has to be centered around 2 of Crowder, Brown, Smart, Bradley, Crowder probably being the most valuable given his contract with Brown next given his potential.........but that's my point, you have the opportunity for a star and you won't give up Crowder? At some point you're basically admitting you don't want to give anything away.....

The Cavs saw Hickson in 2009-2010 the same way the Celtics see Crowder currently, in fact I think the Cavs might have been even higher on him.

KevJ might be a damn fool but Butler for a top 3 pick, and one of the young guys and Crowder is pretty good value. Even with Butler elite contract and the fact that he's improving. Jaylen Brown and Avery Bradley is way too much. They are trading for Jimmy Butler, not Kevin Durant

I'm waiting until the end of the deadline to shyt on Ainge but they have a damn good team and a combo of Jimmy Butler, Isaiah Thomas, and Horford combined with their other pieces at least makes it really competitive against Cleveland. I wouldn't give up both Crowder and Brown. If I'm the Celtics I'm offering one of Crowder or Brown, one of Smart or Bradley, and then one of the Brooklyn picks and then throw in any other contracts to make it work.
