I really wonder what the asking price on Okafur was. Crazy to me that some team didn't take a flyer on him if all it took was a low first and an expiring. I'm not a big Okafur fan but shyt if you could get him for cheap why not. Same with Boogie and Noel (Noel I get since he's due for the extension).

He's NEVER averaged 25, 5, 5. You would think in this scorers league where with guys like IT averaging 30 and Westbrook averaging a 30 pt triple double that PG could average atleast 25 but he's not, especially since there are no other scorers on his team. And what superstar player has he defended well?
He averaged 23, 7 and 4 on a slow paced team last year. He's capable of averaging more. He also doesn't hunt for his shot nearly as much as those guys. Put him on a higher paced team he's easily averaging 27+.

The only superstar who gets off on Paul George consistently is Carmelo. Everyone else has a tough time scoring on him, especially in the clutch.

If Ainge was really win now, he should've taken the chance on PG. whoever he gets in this draft won't be that level of player, especially right away. Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart aren't taking you anywhere. However, if Paul George wasn't signing long term, I see why he passed up the deal.

Holy hyperbole batman...

You watch more college ball than most of this board but be honest about this. :gucci:

Hell, D'angelo Russell at ohio state was doing what we've been seeing Fultz do at this level.

I've never been a fan of Russell. But I'm only 18 breh, the best players I've watched in college besides Fultz are Anthony Davis and Durant :yeshrug:

Bulls are fukkin stupid, they should be in the top 5 of the lottery by now, with multiple picks
and young prospects already on the team if they woulda just tanked from the beginning:dahell:

PG-13 is a damn great player.

But the Pacers were asking for too much (3 of Brown, Bradley, Crowder, Smart in addition to the 2017 Nets pick). Ainge made the right decision.

I'm pissed at Ainge for not getting Noel, especially since Colangelo's dumb ass moved him for virtually 2 second-round draft picks.

If that is all it took then Boston is retarded. None of those players are anything more than role players and the 2017 draft has no surefire superstars.

PG makes them a threat to the Cavs.

Really dumb move by Ainge if he turned that deal down.

only thing that surprised me about this deadline:

the clippers not trading for melo....with cp3 coming back very soon, the need for the fill in guards was no longer needed....and the knicks pretty much told them they could have melo for cheap....the min they got word cp3 was coming back, they shouldve been on the phone offering up the bench for melo...as of right now, the best they looking at is a second round exit....which is horrible for this team cause after this year, the shyt getting blown up....

as long as the Nets pick and one Young player was in the deal I would have traded him to Boston if I was Bird

Now there gonna lose him to the Lakers for nothing.
