Rumor is that they're listening to offers for Dame. That's actually the smart decision, they should keep CJ.

I don't know about that offer though. Probably can't do it without a 3rd team.

Myles is better suited for the 4, offensively at least. I believe the thinking is that Okafor's value is quite low, certainly lower than Lopez, and he's still young.

Bird might be willing to take a bit of a risk to pair him with Myles and hope they can develop together into a dominate front court. He doesn't exactly fit what Bird wanted to do offensively though, but that seemed like more of a cop out to justify firing Vogel anyways.

The problem I have with that is Myles is a pretty good offensive player and is only going to get better...and Okafor is ONLY a back to the basket offensively player. Ideally you would want a defensive guy next to Turner.

And you sure as hell are not going to be playing an uptempo style with Okafor unless you are okay with him never crossing halfcourt for an offensive possession...

We will play 4 on 5 on the other end while Okafor catches his breath for the next possession.
