The lakers aren't in a position to make that move. They are better off waiting and building around the young guys.

If they add him, they can also kiss their first round pick this season goodbye.

Ingram is the only young guy right now who looks like he can be a star. If they trade for George, they want him on the roster to entice Westbrook in 2018. This is a long term play.
