SVG is going to be gone before the season is over.
You think? I understand his point of view. That is not a championship core. Drummond is almost at his ceiling (and the Pistons don't want to pay him a max salary) and Jackson is not a winning player. The rest of the roster is meh. Blow it up.

What's the point in going all in on a lower playoff seed every year? Start over and build for competing in a post-LeBron East.

Just want the Pistons to get rid of Jackson. But I think he will be hard to deal since he has a big contract and his whole thing was being a starting PG. Not sure many teams would want him as a starter, probably just a backup.

All he has to do is get rid of Reggie and they'll be fine. If he can move Drummond for a lottery pick then there is no reason for them to get rid of the other guys.

If he blows the whole thing up he is an idiot.

Butler, as one of the best players in the NBA, won’t come cheap, and it sounds as if the Chicago asking price definitely reflects Butler’s value.

TNT’s David Aldridge reported Tuesday on NBA Network’s “GameTime” that Chicago has its eye on Boston forward Jae Crowder. According to Aldridge, Crowder remains a sticking point in discussions, as Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge doesn’t want to give up the defensive-minded swingman.

Insider post from clutch fans, not mines

Spoke to people on both sides.

Pelinka called Harden to inform him that he was going to become GM of the Lakers. During the conversation Harden asked if Pelinka could help do them a solid and bring in Williams (half joking).

Magic had an offer from the Jazz, Wizards, Rockets. All similar deals and for a pick.

Magic approached Lou and his agent and told him that he wanted to do right by him. (Magic is really trying to get word around the league that he takes care of his players and looks out for them. Part of bringing in a good name to the Lakers org)

Lou chose Houston. The Lakers didn't choose Houston, Lou wanted to be here.

ers didn't choose Houston, Lou wanted to be here.

so even though butler and crowder are redundant and butler is by far a superior player...and his contract is for another 3 years....ainge thinks its ok to hold on to crowder like hes a future mvp :pachaha:

That's fine but he's a role player in a superstars league

Nice player but to make him untouchable is fukkin dumb.

Jae Crowders of the world dont move the needle in the NBA

Butler on the Celtics minus Crowder doesn't make them that much better.

I am the wrong guy to ask though. Not a fan of Jimmy Butler at all. :yeshrug:
