College Park by way of East Bmore
:damn: Super teams are hurting the league.:damn: Bron started...

....wait......what :lupe:

So joking aside, superteams help because historically there are 8-10 teams featured on networks etc. Now that a large chunk of stars are on these teams instead of one, it’s beginning to make the matchups must see.

Last 10 years here are the champs:
Celtics
Lakers
Dallas
Miami
Spurs
Golden State
Cleveland

You can pick almost any 10year span in NBA history and struggle to find 7 different champs in 10 years. :yeshrug:
Right. I think the 70's is the only other time it happened with 8.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
The offenses weren't great, but you could have a low scoring game based off defense playing a major role. It was also easier to frustrate your opponent defensively. You can't convince me that a 120-115 featured really good defense throughout. At best you get them in certain segments. You could build a team primarily off of your defense and be successful. Now it doesn't even matter if GS can hit 4 threes in a 2 minute span and sink you.

Why are you acting like the Grizz didn't do exactly that, or the Jazz weren't that last year teams that were built around their defense. And I don't quite understand why you're referencing the Warriors, they are arguably the best team ever and have the two best shooters ever playing with one of the greatest scorers ever, pointing out what they do to the league is

And again, the teams scored roughly the same ppg in several seasons during the 90s.

I WATCH HOW HE GETS THOSE PAINT PTS.

MOST OF THE TIME
ITS LIKE A PRIME DWIGHT HOWARD
BUT WITH LAYUPS FINISHES INSTEAD OF DUNKS
BEING SET UP BY SIMMONS AND OTHERS.

HES HAD A MAYBE 10 BACKDOWNS IN THE POST
THIS WHOLE SEASON
WHERE HE DID SOME IMPRESSIVE shyt..

HES NOT A REAL POST PLAYER.

10 backdowns? He's literally made more hookshots on the season than that, is he turning and facing the rim to throw up hooks? You just hate everything I hold dear, the best post player to come into the league since Duncan and this is how you thank him? :smh:

So many good young players :whew:

Add to the fact they play for big market East Coast teams :salute:

Just having KP in NY, the Process in Philly finally coming to fruition, and the C's with that young team :ahh:

If Giannis goes to the Bulls it's gonna be a wrap:lupe:

Defense in general is played only in segments. It used to be offensive to give up 100 a night. Now you can give up 110 in a game and be like "yeah we got key stops and played solidly on that end."

It's not much different than the NFL where the idea of good defense is readjusted to lowered expectations.
hell no, giving up 110 points is always a bad look
and the NFL isn’t much better defensively when the current game is entirely designed to boost big passing gains for qbs
