Seems like u like him as a person and what you believe he's going thru, which makes u like his music.

What he's going thru isn't impressive to me or interesting to me cause it isnt something thats new to living in any hood.
So all I can judge him on is his music....

Cuz, I’m not some fanned out kid. I support any young dude making an honest living. I’m not amazed by no rappers, but I’d rather listen to young street nikkas than Kanye or Drake. I’m a grown man with a wife, kids, home, & business. I do like his music but I don’t know him as a person. The best thing for hop hop this year for me was Mac coming home.

Young boy is super versatile he got tracks that old heads could fukk with, tracks that broads can fukk with, tracks that get radio play, tracks that you can dance to and turn the club up, tracks you can chill and smoke to.

Tracks where he’s actually emotional on and he’s very transparent in his music.

And he’s constantly putting out music all his music ain’t for everybody but even I who used to not fukk with him found a few tracks to I play regularly.

He’s the furthest thing from a plant I legit hear him everywhere I go even in the whitest neighborhoods.

I was in Baton Rouge a few weekends ago and my Uber driver, a young college girl, couldn't stop gushing over him when we started talking about music. I believe her top 3 was YoungBoy, Drake and Pooh Shiesty. He's really well regarded with a lot of people, he's tapped in with a subset that feel they can relate to him despite themselves not being hood.

low key his delivery sounds like a lot of dance hall artists. its kinda catchy

hes at least better than the worst soundcloud / drill rappers. definitely a singles artist tho. he can't really keep my attention over a whole project
