what? The Neo to the specs the Scorpio will have?? I wouldn't call it inferior. Inferior implies no way comparable.
A PS3 is inferior to the PS4. Larrybox to the PS4. Neo to the Scorpio? Nah.
So 1080P is not inferior to 4k?

Considering the xb1 and ps4 dropped at the same time you had a choice to buy the weaker system or not, esp with the game comparisons that came out before launch. It's 3 years later b.

We not getting 4k60, but 1080p60 will be standard in neo mode. Thats enough in itself to cop.With the 4k upscaling and hdr, I'm set.
To get the same 1080p60 for Xbox games you have to get a Scorpio since the 1S can't do it.
If there were exclusive Scorpio games then we would be talking,
Devs will not make the Scorpio the lead platform either since most won't have the system.
I built a PC for my boy a few years ago, recently he upgraded his shyt to a 980 TI and he had a $2000 Samsung 4KTV he bought. I don't know the exact model.
We played The Witcher 3, ROTR and Crysis 3 at 4K. I also seen UC4 upscaled to 4K on his TV and shyt looked amazing.
