The funniest thing I have ever seen on NBATV is when CWebb and Shaq (and D. Scott as well, along with Rick Kamla I think) were all on the set and CWebb was asked if he and Shaq could have worked if the Magic wouldn't have traded him. CWebb was like, "Yeah, it woulda been perfect, we woulda been a great frontcourt, blahblahblah" and then Shaq exposed that HE was the one who told Magic management to trade Webber for Penny.

The look on CWebb's face was hilarity, and the fact that Shaq was so oblivious to Webber's feelings made that shyt six times as funny.

:wow::pachaha: i respect webb for his game and his intelligence but his mentality when he is around shaq is on some big brother program type ish. pitiful sometimes but hey kobe was like that for his first few seasons too so. :manny:. but that was a teenagers this is a grown man. :childplease:

I can't even begin to describe how nonchalant Shaq was acting about it. It's like he didn't even consider that Webber was right there and probably feeling some type of way about it. That was what made it so funny. It was clearly the first time Webber had heard about it, and Shaq clearly didn't give not even one half of a fukk.

But I'm not even mad at the way Webb seems to dikkride Shaq at times. That's just the way it is. It's no different than the way Chuck acts around Mike and talks about Jordan, or how Reggie and others talk about Jordan. Shaq was the dominant player in Webber's era that nobody could stop, and the main guy keeping Webber from winning a championship, so of course he's gonna hype him up.

Yea he's talking about that.

But to Ernie's defense, he was just saying that the term segregation is much more closely associated with Black folks not being allowed to interact with White folks...like back when his father played with Hank Aaron & they had to leave restaurants because of it.

And he just quickly got loud with Kenny & Charles because they didn't let him finish his thought. They know each other the best anyway.

That was Ernie letting his white privilege shine though...

He was talking about HIS definition of the word and how he sees things while at the same time downplaying the experiences of guys who have/used to go through the shyt.

Ernie was just flat out wrong, even if he is using that narrow ass definition since that shyt is still done to this day just not in the overt way it used to be done.

Ernie isn't racist, but he's definitely oblivious to his privilege.
