The promo run was basically keeping his name in the news with controversy. And also serving as the ghetto Willy Wonka with the ticket thing.
And as far as singles, Diamonds with French Montana can do something. Hate Being Sober can do damage, even without the video. And it's not "single material" but I hear people singing the "ha ha ha" from Laughing to the Bank and/or posting the lyrics on FB/Twitter.
So he has room to move some more units.

When ever a major signs and rushes an unpolished artist to the masses, there is usually a clear market/lane for them to capitalize on.
thats cuz game, kendrick, and meek have real fans and make good(or atleast decent) music and they have albums that are actually WORTH buying.
Keef has a loyal fanbase too I aint gonna lie but I'm sure even they knew that his cd was not worth buying. All the shyt sounded the same and he was barely speaking english on there.

the fans that keefs music attracts are not looking for anything deep which is fine all music doesnt need to be like that.. the music is hollow tho.. the lack of a deeper meaning or connection restricts you from fully appreciating the music therefore its not something close to you personally so you dont feel like you need it in your life..
the fans that kendricks music attracts are looking for meaning and meassages that thy see in the music and can translate thoses messages feelings emotions into their own personal lifes on a daily basis.. this makes you feel like its a part of you and you want it in your life its like an extension of your own idenity and to you its worth having in your life since its really a part of you as a person.
